Add a constraint for the phone number input on the checkout form

Hello,

I'm currently using the Shopify plus account, but found that there's a lot of restrictions for the checkout form. I'm wondering is there a possible way to add constraints, such as create a field mask on the phone number input in the Shopify checkout form that could limit the user entry to 20 characters?
