Add a page to shop without '/pages/' folder

Hi all,

We have moved to Shopify and already have lots of packaging printed. The issue we have is that our packaging contains a QR code to {domain}/welcome. When we create a new page on shopify we get the following path {domain}/pages/welcome, which does not work.

Is there anything that can be done within Shopify or with an app or with custom code.. that might allow us to create the path we want: {domain}/welcome ?

There are apps like 'flow' that can handle a redirection from an existing path, so this question really relates to the ability to create this path.

Yes, there is a solution in Shopify Admin.

You can redirect {domain}/welcome > {domain}/pages/welcome.

Shopify Admin > Online Store > Navigation > Create URL redirect

Hi, is there a way to do the other way round?

i.e. domain/pages/welcome to domain/welcome?

when i try to do it. it says 404 not found
