Add Address or Custom Fields to Customer Registration

Hi, I just want to ask if I can add additional fields to the default Shopify customer registration form.

I was looking at this documentation, but it doesn’t indicate whether I can add custom form fields.

I want to add address fields similar to those when creating your first address.

I know the exact file where it is located but could you instruct me how to do this? That's all, I hope you can help me. Thank you.

Hello 👋

Just checking, are you planning on using "Legacy Customer Accounts" or "Customer Accounts"? Your options are different when it comes to what you can do with adding fields on your registration page. 
Depending on which version of customer accounts you're going to use it is possible to add these additional fields, and that's actually why we created Customer Fields. It's easier using "Legacy Customer Accounts" but it's still possible using a form on the Customer Portal. Here's a short video we made showing how to accomplish that.
