Ads.txt file showing as a 404 error

I have uploaded a TXT file via assets in the code for my site to allow Google Adsense to run on the site. I cannot find the URL for the file. I have tried /ads.txt /asset/ads.txt /assets/ads.txt /store/assets/ads.txt and all of them show a 404 on the adding page. I am currently running the Craft theme.
