Appeal

So my store was closed this morning because Shopify thinks I violated AUP but of course I haven't so I submitted an appeal. My question is, how long will it take to appeal? My store is new and I worked so hard and I finally figured out how to use google ads just for this to happen. Its so funny I nearly feel like crying. Then when I contacted support to ask them they said to just respond to the termination email. You literally can't. It says so in the email "Any responses submitted will not receive a reply". Also It doesn't help that after I submitted an appeal I did not receive any conformation. How am I supposed to be sure they even got it? I guess if no one knows how long an appeal will take or if it will take too long I should just start all over again...

I’m having the same issue right now I spent about 3k so far setting everything up Seo, analytics etc even just the theme alone but what I felt like I really spent a lot was my time which is outrageous to me how they manage these situations almost unprofessionally and take so long to get back to you worst part is they terminated my shop with absolutely no warning whatsoever or even a reason until I contacted Shopify support and they told me it was a security/verification issue which makes no sense to me because if that was the case why are they taking so long to get back to me?

Did this ever get resolved? And how long was the wait for decision on appeal. I’m in the same boat and their customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced.

Any updates? This just happened to us April 16th 2025
