Apple Pay Support in Saudi Arabia, Checkout.com

I have a website on Magento and wanted to move to Shopify, but our payment gateway (checkout.com) informed me that we won't be able to use Apple Pay on Shopify in KSA, due to Shopify's limitation, is there any possible way to activate it? as if it is not possible we will not move to Shopify.

we were the first one to launch in the kingdom
however shopify doesn't have it onsite - its a limitation from their end- not us

Hi, @Omar_Radwan. 

At this time, Apple Pay is only available for the following payment providers: 

• Shopify Payments
• Stripe
• First Data Payeezy
• Authorize.net
• CyberSource

I'm afraid that none of these payment providers currently support Saudi Arabia, so using Apple Pay in your Shopify store would not be possible if you chose to move from Magento to Shopify. More information on Apple Pay and its requirements can be found here.

Hello,

Apple Pay is available in Saudi Arabia with Shopify. You can connect with Paytab or Urway and they will activate the apple pay in your store. My three stores have this feature.

The above-mentioned method is not recommended or supported by Shopify. Apple Pay is only supported by a handful of payment providers as listed here.

true its 2023 and still no apple pay in saudi this is a really big issue we have that will lead more and more to leave shopify 2 years and still nothing
