Olá comunidade do Shopify,

Obrigado!

Hello @crackeialivre ,
Here are Some  addditionals and techniques you can consider to further optimize your Shopify site's speed:

  1. Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images and videos. Lazy loading defers the loading of non-critical resources (such as images below the fold) until they are needed, which can significantly improve initial page load times.

  2. Reduce HTTP Requests: Minimize the number of HTTP requests by combining CSS and JavaScript files, inline small CSS/JS directly into the HTML, and reducing the number of images and external resources.

  3. Optimize Fonts: Use web-safe fonts or system fonts to reduce the need for additional font files. Also, consider using font-display: swap; CSS property to optimize font loading.

  4. Shopify Apps: Explore Shopify apps specifically designed to improve website speed. Apps like "Speed Boostr" and "NitroPack" offer various features such as image optimization, lazy loading, and script minification tailored for Shopify stores.

  5. Code Optimization: Regularly review and optimize your theme's code to remove any unused CSS or JavaScript, and ensure efficient coding practices.

  6. Monitor Performance: Utilize tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Pingdom to regularly monitor your website's performance. These tools can provide insights and recommendations for further optimization.

  7. Optimize Images: Ensure images are compressed and optimized for the web without compromising quality. Shopify's built-in image optimization feature automatically compresses images, but you can further optimize images before uploading them.

  8. Reduce Redirects: Minimize the number of redirects on your website as they add additional HTTP requests and increase load times. Use 301 redirects for permanent changes and avoid unnecessary redirects.

  9. Minimize Render-Blocking Resources: Identify and minimize render-blocking resources in your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to speed up initial page rendering.

  10. Consider Server Response Time: Evaluate your hosting provider and server response times. Consider upgrading your hosting plan or switching to a faster hosting provider if server response times are slow.

Ok, so you need to understand the way Pagespeed insights priotizes its metrics, and focus on improving the ones you can.
The ones you can improve all, FCP, and LCP.
The rest are generally based on how much content you have, no how fast critical content loads. So that depends on the client, and usually involves a hopeless conversation.

To improve LCP and FCP
Use the critical css method
Make js non render blocking
Preload LCP images
Make sure LCP images are not being lazyloaded

And yeah, thats all, that's all I usually for clients, the rest is hopeless, unless you have a client willing to change content to improve their speed, but clients just want it faster, but having the exact same content, which doesn't make sense.
