Automating Shopify Reports

Howdy!

My organization is constantly downloading Shopify reports on a monthly basis and I've been having the hardest time trying to find a native or third-party solution like Zapier, PowerAutomate, & Make. I'm shocked Shopify doesn't offer any native automation of reports. If they do, PLEASE direct me in the right direction.

Anyway my main want is to have transactions, orders, and payout Shopify reports emailed to me on a monthly basis.

At this time there is not a feature built within the Shopify Platform to automatically download your reports on a monthly basis. You can set up a recurring task using a third-party app or script such as the ones you mentioned. Zapier is one that is used often, but you can browse our Shopify App Store for more suggestions.

It seems Shopify's automatic report export on a monthly basis is not available as a built-in solution.

However, you can find scheduled reporting features in third-party apps like ours and I'll quickly show you how it works in Mipler.

Directly from the open custom or any of the built-in reports, you can go to the section to customize the email subject, recipients and the date and time the report is sent. The example is on the screenshot:

This is indeed simple to do in Mipler and takes less than a minute.

Of course you can include several reports in one email and choose the format in which you want to receive the reports.
