Hi, I'm using the Brooklyn theme, and I didn't like that the menu on the desktop would turn into a hamburger menu. I modified the theme.scss.liquid code so the menu won't collapse into a burger, and instead, the menu would be displayed under the header, which works; however, the mobile menu is gone. I attached a screenshot of the mobile site's missing menu, profile icon, and magnifying glass icon.
I've been comparing the updated site to the original template, and it looks like, for some reason, the mobile init command isn't registering on the updated site. I've attached a screenshot of the page inspection below for comparison and contrast.
Below is the screenshot of the desktop site's inspection page. The left-hand page is the updated site, and the right side is the old Brooklyn template. The yellow is where elements match up to the code. The left-hand side is two division elements below the right-hand side, as noted by the red asterisk placements. The left-hand side became a navigation class in a grid item, while the right hand is still a division element with the mobile initialization.
Below is the screenshot of the mobile site, where the updated site on the left has no burger menu, and the old template retains the burger menu:
TL;DR How do I get the hamburger menu to show on the updated site?
