BUG: Shopify Counts Not Paid Items as Partial Refunds

I will probably never know why Shopify adds not paid items to the order when a post purchase upsell is used, but what's even more fun is - after the not paid item is removed from the order, Shopify counts that as a partial refund.

This fully messes up our data and all apps that rely on it. How to escalate that so it can get fixed?

Long story short - Shopify's post purchase does work in a way that whenever an eligible order is offered an upsell, the product is first added to it, but then if the payment does not go through, it is then removed.

Now the funny part, Shopify reports the removed items as refunds even when the customer never paid for them! That meses up our reports showing a huge return rate of 10%. It is not possible to monitor your real return rate per product for real anomalies like issues with the product etc. This false reports are also giving red flags to our apps that track profit/loss and completely messes up the data.

This 100% should be fixed
