I sell mostly one-off antique products, so have a lot of products to delete. Up until recently I had a custom app that took the URL from the search engine listing box on the admin product page and redirected it back to the relevant collection page, nice and simple. Recently shopify changed the format of the URL link so its now useless (I have queried it with shopify as to why they changed it, bottom line is they don't know why!) & they no longer support bulk redirects.
Theres a few apps out there but they're only for dealing with 404s after the event, I want to deal with them before they become a problem. I've currently got several hundred products as drafts that need deleting and the only way I can do it is to cut and paste the URL into the shopify redirect page which is hours of manual work.
Anyone got any ideas?
