Button in header doesn't work on mobile device

I'm using a slideshow in my header that contains 3 slides, and each slide has a "shop now" button. The button on the first slide works fine on desktop and in the theme editor for both desktop and mobile, but on an actual mobile device that first button just won't work. The buttons on the other 2 slides work fine on mobile. I've confirmed it's not working on both apple and android devices. It's weird. Has anyone run into this before?
