Can I collect birth month data using Mailchimp on Shopify?

Hello -

I've connected my third party mailchimp account to my shopify. When I set up mailchimp I had people add in their birthmonth as part of the sign up. Is there a way to continue that with now using mailchimp THROUGH shopify?
