Hi, @Peps1.

Sophia here from Shopify. Welcome to the Shopify Community!

While there isn't a print option for payouts within the admin, you can print your payouts by using the print function in your browser. To print using your browser:

  1. Log in as the store owner
  2. Navigate to Settings > Payouts > View payouts
  3. Select the payout you want to print by clicking on the date under Payout Date
  4. On your keyboard, press Command+P for Mac or Control+P for Windows, or right click on the page and select Print

Keep in mind that you may need to adjust the settings to fit the payout information to the page. Here's what the system dialog looks like for me in Google Chrome on a MacBook:

20-11-1ymih-ztj9x

Based on your preference, you can choose between Portrait or Landscape format, and adjust the Scale as necessary to fit the information on the page. These settings allow me to save my payout as a PDF, or alternatively, save to Google Drive, though you may see other options depending on the browser you're using and the programs you have installed on your device. If you need to print right away and aren't saving the document first, you can select the "Print using system dialog" option (near the bottom right in my screenshot).

I hope this is helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback on the process.

Up until about 3 weeks ago (sometime after October 20) I used to print my payouts using the system print dialog without having to adjust any settings. Now, to get the print to fit correctly, I have to shrink the print. The issue with that is that I have to remember to switch back to default settings whenever I print from any other application in Chrome. I'm not sure why Shopify changed this behaviour - it seemed to coincide with other cosmetic changes to the Shopify back end. It seems to be yet another example of fixing something that isn't broken in the first place and in the process - actually breaking it!

I'm hoping Shopify will "fix" this, by which I mean, reverse the change they made to the back-end so that we can print our Payouts easily using the default settings in Chrome.

That's useful, thank you, but it would be so much better if shopify allowed me to download a PDF of a payout statement (including a shopify identifier) which I could then use directly in my bookkeeping.
