I had a website setup and bought the domain powersupps.store
i closed my account due to concerns about my business idea. Since I reconvinced myself to start again.
I wonder if it would be possible to get back the old domain aswell for my reopened store?
Kind regards
Alex from Powersupps
Hey, @Powersupps.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
When purchasing a domain through Shopify, you will own the domain for one year. So, depending on when your account was closed, your domain may still be active and owned by you. However, if you the domain was purchased over a year ago, then there will be a 30-day grace period for you to renew the domain before it becomes publicly available again. Since you've mentioned reopening the store, then you can try reactivating the store and checking the domain settings.
That being said, I took a quick look at the domain (powersupps.store) and it looks like the domain is active at the moment. Just to confirm, were you able to reactivate your store successfully? If so, then do you see the custom domain on your account?
