Can't change background colour of Shopify page and Cart drop down

Hello,

I am very new to Shopify and have no experience at all using code.

I would like the background for my website to be white. I have changed the theme colours but all of my pages under the Our Company menu are displaying in blue. I would like the header of each page to remain blue and the rest of the page to appear in white but don't know how to do this.

I would also like to change the background colour of my add to cart drop down and the view cart button but have no idea how to do this either.

Please could someone help and explain in extremely basic detail.
