Can't find editing tools for adding meta objects, is it due to my plan?

I'm watching a video on how to add meta objects. I got to the part that explains how to assign the meta object to a specific place on a product page. My account doesn't show editing tools. Is that because I am on the $5 a month plan? After all that work.
