I was looking to point my clients domain to Shopify. He purchased his domain from NameCheap. I know the process takes 24h-48h, however, he stopped receiving emails to his business email address. Is this common? Why does it happen? And how do I fix it?

If your client is using a third-party domain and branded email address , then they may also need to add Shopify's DMARC and TXT records so that their emails aren't being flagged as spam. If you or your client needs help with this, then we've got a guide on how to do that here: Authenticate your third-party domain. Should you require further assistance with adding or editing DNS records on a third-party domain, then this is something that your domain provider can help you with.
