My company has a plus plan. Our users log into our corporate site and then use multipass to SSO to our shopify site when purchasing items. We have one set of styles for the checkout page for most of our users. We have some clients who use our site and want to have a different branding in shopify to make it look more like their own brand (corner radius on buttons, background colors, font, font color, etc). Its simple enough to do on most pages - my plan is to add a user tag and use that to dynamically set css variables which will be used in the theme.css.liquid which controls all the styles of the site. But it seems like its impossible on the checkout page. Since the checkout extensions were released we no longer have access to checkout.liquid. The checkout settings page only seems to allow one checkout profile active at a time. Is there some way to have more than one style on checkout pages and toggle based on some user tag or metafield? For instance User 1 sees buttons with border radius 5 on checkout page. User 2 sees buttons with border radius 10 on checkout page.
No. Whilst extensibility will give you control to augment the checkout design/elements based on the customer, the master design elements will remain the same for all. Any change via the branding api will also affect all users and not a subset.
