Hi! My client wants to add a delivery date time field under the cart page notes so the users can better spot it and enter their preferred date of delivery. Problem is, the client also wants that same field to show up as a separate column in the orders page (this is for better organization and sorting/filtering), not just in the order notes.
Is adding a custom field/column in the orders possible to do in Shopify? I've done the adding of the date field but that only shows up in the order notes.

Hey @LitCommerce, unfortunately this isn't really the solution I was looking for.
Ideally I'd want to add a column or field to these headings right here in the orders page:
It'd be populated by a date picker in the cart page of the customer. We'd be able to filter and sort based on that info.

This is not possible, you cannot edit it, it is managed by Shopify.
When you add according to my instructions, the content will be noted at 'Additional details'. Refer:
