Cannot activate my password protected page due to error

I'm trying to activate my password protected page to do some edits, when I select the check box (as I have many times before) and click SAVE I receive this error:

 Now. There was an issue with reCAPTCHA not working a few weeks ago and I had turned it off temporarily. I turned it back on a few days ago with no issues. 

 

Any help?

Good news, this issue is now resolved. Please try using the Preferences page, and let me know how it goes. If you're still having issues, try from an incognito or private browsing window, as you may need to clear your cache

I'd like to collect some information about the issue for our team, if you can please answer the following questions: 

  • Are you the account owner?
  • Are any other staff members are experiencing the issue?
  • Other than the password protection section, are you having any other troubles with the Preferences page currently?

I am the account owner. If I try to edit any other fields on the
Preferences page I get the same error. It basically won't allow me to edit
anything and save. The save button stays active but doesn't save.
