Hey guys
Normally I'd try to just nut this kind of thing out myself but this one is driving me bonkers!
Back when I set up my store & barely had a clue, I installed a Privacy Banner. I've since removed the app so I have no idea what one i was. Only problem is the bloody banner still appears! I've dug through the code but can't find any reference to it or a cookie banner.
Theme is Minimal.
Don't need a Customer Privacy App because I'm in & only selling in Australia.
The Banner is a great big green thing that is annoying as hell!
Definitely not a cache issue - tried various browsers, devices & incognito modes.
Can anyone give me a hint on how to find this rotten thing in the code & remove it? Anyone recognise it at all?
Ta in advance.
Bec

Hi @SameSameGifts ,
Few apps their files and references in store theme files, therefore these reference were not removed when you removed the app.
You have to search privacy reference exist in your theme files and remove it. You can share the URL if possible will help.
Thank you so much for your response. I have been digging through the theme files like a crazy woman trying to find any reference to any remaining privacy files that may be causing it.
I've currently got one page that uses Pagefly & therefore creates a separate liquid theme & I have my suspicions that it might be in there somewhere because they seem to bake in some sort of privacy protection. Once I finish recreating that one page using something else, I'll be getting rid of Pagefly altogether so I am hoping that will remove the banner.
In the meantime, my url is www.samesamebutdifferentgifts.com.au and I sure would appreciate it if you could have a look for me 🙂
Cheers!

Seriously, very much appreciated! 🙂
