Challenge to have different column width mobile and desktop

Hi everyone, 

Hope you are all well. 

So I have a multicolumn section in my product page, the image ratio is ''adapt to image''. 

Set full width column: It looks great on mobile but it's way too large on the desktop version.

Set half-width column: It looks great on desktop but too small in mobile.

How do I set the column as full width for the mobile and half-width for the desktop ? 

Really appreciate your guys input.
