How can I alter the text color of product options in the simple theme?

I am using the simple theme. For my products, there are drop-down menus that let you choose size and color. How do I change the text color for just these options? currently, it is white text on a white background, which does not look good.

Please share your store URL. If it is password protected then please share it.

Also share the color you want to set for the dropdowns.

NOTE: Store password is not your admin password.

This worked for changing the size and color option drop down, but not the ones for quantity when you check out, and for sorting items

Please replace the line with the bold lines like this where you have added the given code lines:

.single-option-selector, .quantity-selector, #SortBy { 

color:#0e0e0e 

}

Be sure to check your theme settings for the different color combinations.

If you haven't customized your theme, or have apps that have,  also contact shopify support to report a theme bug that causes variant options to be unusable.
