Hi All,
I'm working in the latest Dawn Theme and want to change the URL link of the 'Continue Shopping' button on the purchase confirmation page after checkout. Currently it links to the Shopify domain, I want to change that.
I also want to change the URL link of the 'Visit our store' button in the default Order Confirmation email. Same thing.
Where in the Edit Code can I do this?
All help is appreciated. Screenshots below for clarification.
Best,
Jelle

Hey, @Jelle1.
Thank you for following up and clarifying.
I'm not sure if there's a way to change the link on the order confirmation as the customizable checkout is only available on Shopify Plus. While I was able to find a forum thread that suggests this is possible, the video shared by the Shopify Partner in the solution doesn't seem to be accessible anymore.
If you're unable to find where to change the link without the video, then you can try asking the Shopify Partner to grant access to their video as I'm seeing other community members doing the same. That being said, you can also consider hiring a developer from Shopify Partners to see if this is something that they can help you with as well.
If you have any other questions, then don't hesitate to get back to me here!

Hi, @Jelle1.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
I understand that you're looking to change the URL addresses for the Continue shopping in the Online store as well as the Visit our store buttons in the order confirmation template. Since you're using a Shopify-supported theme, then this is something that our Theme Support team can help you with if you're not comfortable working with coding languages (eg. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid). However, in order to be eligible for the complimentary design time included with our design policy, your store would need to be subscribed to a plan. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to assist you with a customization request through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.
That being said, I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community! Once you've submitted a customization request, I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What types of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?

Hi @Elias ,
Thank you for the extensive reply.
I'm currently on the Basic Plan, and have been in contact with the Support Chat. Unfortunately, they're unable to help with any code editting.
I'm comfortable with changing the code myself, but don't know in which liquids I can change the URLs for the two buttons I mentiond:
1. Checkout Comfirmation Page 'Continue Shopping' button
2. Order Confirmation Email 'Visit our store' button
There is no cart.liquid in the latest Dawn Theme.
If you know, or anyone else, I'm eager to learn.
Cheers,
Jelle
Hi, @Jelle1.
Thank you for following up with the additional context.
If changing the URL addresses for the two buttons isn't something that our Theme Support team can help you with, then you can also consider hiring a developer to assist you with these tasks. If you need help finding a developer, then we'd recommend taking a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Experts.
That being said, if you're comfortable working with coding languages and you'd like to try changing the URL links on your own, then I've found two threads that may be able to assist you with these tasks. Both of these guides designed for the Online store 2.0 themes, which includes the Dawn theme.
If you have any other questions on this topic, then don't hesitate to let me know!

Hi @Elias ,
Thanks again for the help. I managed to fix the issue with the email due to your recommendation, thanks for that!
Unfortunately, the other thread was about changing the button in the cart, instead of on the order confirmantion page. I don't know which liquid is used for that.
Best,
Jelle
