I tried to add one small bit of code to the Theme.scss.liquid to the end so that i could change the icons at the top of my online store, this has fully changed the layout of the store and i cant get it back, i also dont have a option for old previous edits so not sure what to do to fix the code and get my store design back

If you have original theme files, you can use a diff tool to check for the discrepancies between the original code and the current code for that particular file.

In the future, before you make any drastic code changes make sure to create a copy/duplicate of your theme files.
