Collection Banner Clipping On Mobile & Collection Description Placement

Hi I'm having a couple of issues with the collections banner. (Using the Focal theme) 

1) I require a image as the banner with the collection text below it, not covering it. The collection text covers the collection banner, I do not want it positioned here - I'd like it to be below the banner. I've only found code that covers the collection description, but I do still require this to be shown.

2) The collection banners are clipping on mobile, is there a way to format the collection banner for mobile so it does not clip off the text on the image?
