Collection images disappearing on both computer and mobile

We're having a problem with collection images appearing for a brief moment and then disappearing on both laptop and mobile views. We are using the Impulse theme (and we did have a similar problem with blog pictures when we were first setting up the site; that was an image opacity issue). Any input?
