I am attempting to make my collection pages more dynamic so I don't need a template for every one. I created a collection metafield where the type is product and added a couple of products to the metafield within their respective collections. But when I'm in the theme editor on my collection page, I can't choose that metafield as a "featured collection." It doesn't show up. Is there a way to make it show up or am I doing something wrong?
Hey @danirutter could you please share code for Collection metafield so that I check the code you implemented is correct or not.
Thanks
Hi @danirutter 👋 think it through your trying to assign a product list metafield to something that expects a collection resource.
It's either just create small specific collections, and link that in the picker directly, or maybe through a dynamic source to a metafield collection type if it allows it. In some themes metaobjects are also an alternative.
Beyond that is an advanced theme customization to generate a custom product grid.
