Compare At price disappears from product tab when adding variants

As far as I can figure out, the only way I'm able to edit the compare at price for a product that has variants is to delete all variants which brings back the compare at price, change it, then recreate every variant all over again. This is exceedingly tedious for something that should be very simple. Why does it disappear and how do I edit it without deleting all variants and starting over every time?

This is Theodore from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.

The "compare at price" disappears because it usually applies to the whole product, not individual variants with different prices. To edit it:

1. Go to the product and find the "Pricing" section.
2. Set the variant prices as your current selling prices (these become your "sale prices").
3. If the "Compare at price" field is visible, enter your original price there.
4. Save the product.

Hi - I have added the compare at price on both of my variants. One of my variants is showing the sale price and the other variant is not. 

What could be going wrong there?? The compare price is definitely in both of the variants. 

I am also using seal subscriptions.
