Hello all,
I've been asked to update an existing site, but I've not worked in shopify before, only in (ssshhhh) squarespace.
What I'd like to do is duplicate the existing site so I can test changes (and work out my learning curve) on a non-live site - that way if I make a mess, I haven't ruined the live site.
I don't really need the product sections just yet, only the home and info pages as I figure I'll be able to learn the ropes on them.
Is this possible, and if so, how do I go about it?
Many thanks indeed,
P
There are quite a few things you can to make sure it does not get destroyed and you can still work with the existing data and so forth. I just did exactly that kind of project. If you want I can help.
