connecting external supplier database for customers

Hi,

I have an online clothing store and I am planning on adding a product customization section for my customers.

I have been able to understand and create a custom product template that I can assign to the products I want to add the customization options to. 

My query is that "I want the customer to be able to choose fabric from my fabric supplier which is on his website and be able to select (click and choose the fabric & quantity) on the supplier's website and connect it back to my Shopify website product customization page and place the order from my store -like a normal product order". I hope this is clear.

Can anyone help me with how to go about it?
