Connecting subdomains to specific collections

I'm creating collections for our mountain trips e.g.:

• UK guided walks
• UK guided scrambles
• UK challenge events
• Overseas expeditions

Can I connect specific subdomains to specific collections? I've created subdomains for each collection (e.g. walks.inspire-alpine.com, scrambles.inspire-alpine etc.) and was planning to connect them but I'm not quite sure if this is possible or how to enable it. We are on the NPO Lite plan, which aligns with the Shopify Basic plan.

Shopfy support confirmed that it's not possible to setup a sub-domain to point directly to a collection, but suggested I could potentially setup a redirect on a subdomain within my host to point to yourmaindomain.com/collection.

I looked into it some more, and it looks like Cloudflare might be able to
make it work. I'll report back when/if I get around to testing it 👍
