Converting .scss & .scss liquid files to .css or .css.liquid

Hi, we have had a 'Theme error found' message appear on the editor section of our site. The issue detected is that the stylesheet took too long to compile. After speaking with Shopify support they have advised that we convert our .scss and .scss.liquid files to .css or .css.liquid files. They also mentioned that the files are currently too big so will need to be split. Has anyone had a similar issue or can recommend a developer to updated our files?

I have had this issue before. I would recommend splitting the files into smaller chunks and then using a tool like gulp to compile them back together

Hi, thank you for your reply. As well as splitting the files would you also convert them to .css or .css.liquid files? This error was showing on our staging site but we also have 3 live sites that would need updated. If you are interested in the work could you send over a quote and timescale? Thank you!
