Correct method CLI and preview theme

Not sure if this is the correct location.

I'm trying to change the default Dawn theme in my local dev environment for my personal store. I've created a test store in my partner account and connected via CLI etc. That all works. 

When connecting using the CLI there is a "preview theme" url created -> http://127.0.0.1:9292
Opening this url asks for a password. This doesn't work, even when I use the correct password. I also not able to change this setting in the admin. It's greyed out.

There is also a different url created like https://some-store-name.myshopify.com. There the preview does work.
I was wondering why that local url is not working or at least the password isn't? And I was wondering how others work in this case? Is that second generated url the one to go or did I something wrong in the setup?

Ok nevermind! Read in the dev forums it's version issue for the Shopify CLI
