Create another section of the store in a subdomain

Hi everyone, 

I was wondering if it was possible to create another store, but using the same shopify account in a subdomain of my main domain.

Let me explain, we are an ecommerce but we also wanna have a marketplace section where we will upload used products that our customers will send us by email.

The problem is that we don't want to have them in the same store and categories as our products, since our products are new and these will be used products, so I was wondering if we could make another landing page in a subdomain and have the same categories as we have on our main store but without the products of our main store only the products uploaded by our usuers.

I'm also open to do this on the same domain but I'm not sure how to structure the collections layout to have the same collections duplicated, one for our products and one for the marketplace.

Oh goodness thank you Zintesis! We are facing the same challenge! We actually want to offer a completely separate product line and from a brand perspective, they should not mixed with the existing page, so the ideal way is to have a subdomain page or store as its own story/entity. We were told that this is not possible on Shopify because it doesn't actually host a subdomain page creation. It only creates the subdomain name and can only be redirected back to the homepage. We were told to create another website outside of Shopify, grab that IP address and edit our subdomain name in Shopify to route to that external site. (Hope I'm explaining myself properly here too).
