Currency converter doesn't work on blog/article pages

This happens with both the custom solution I built and the code that Shopify provides.

I'm using a totally custom-built theme.

There is nothing strange in it, since blog pages are not intended for selling and there is no price. That's why Shopify developers limited currency converter.
That's not the problem.

This is incorrect, as it's possible to embed products into blog posts. It's documented by Shopify and works great. That's the entire point of having a blog, to promote products.

I suspect it's a bug on Shopify's end since currency conversion is a new feature.
