Hello, a friend tried to help with a simple modification (larger action buttons) in my Clean Canvas - Symmetry theme. Unfortunately it did not go well. The few lines of code were added to the Assets > Theme.js section and it didn't work, so they promptly removed it. However, after removing the new lines of code and saving, the theme did not go back to it's original state. When it loads now there are several pictures completely missing from the Home page. Going back to the Assets > Theme.js area, it does not show any changes were made in order to restore a previous version. Can anyone help with this?
Hi @authenticeight as you've found theme files in the /assets folder do not have a rollback feature .
Possible DIY,
Make an exported backup of the broken theme, clearly renaming it that it is broken.
If the theme is a recent version from the theme store, reinstall a new copy of the theme and transplant the files you assume are broken from the new install to the broken theme.
Alternatively for OS2.0 themes if you don't need the customizations in the broken theme then copy all JSON templates and the config data in the config folder from the broken theme to the new theme install.
