Custom Domain Error

This morning I have woken up to an error message saying "Your domain has no CNAME record".

This is strange as the website has been in use for a while.

I went into my DNS settings which are currently with google domains and everything appears to be as it should be however I have just noticed this error message on the "website" section in the Google Domains settings.Screenshot 2024-06-10 072125.png

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

You are encountering this error because Google Domains has been acquired by Squarespace. The migration process for domains and customer accounts is currently underway and will continue over the next few months. You will receive an email confirmation from Google once your domain has been migrated, followed by a separate email from Squarespace Domains with instructions for domain management.

If the records do not migrate properly, you will need to update them manually, Check emails from Google/Squarespace.

Hi there

Thank you for the help! I will leave my DNS records as they are for now then.

Very best wishes
