Hi, I've been trying unsuccessfully to implement custom filters on our store, we have a set of metafields we would like to use as filters for the products in our collections but the queries are not returning any results. I've tried a lot of different things, always the same result. Not sure if this is a common issue, we're utilising a heavily modified version of the Context Theme, it's not a 2.0 theme so I had to update it myself, and for example the filter for availability is working fine, but the filters based on tags and product metafields are returning 0 results every single time.
Some of the queries we're using:
By tag: filter.p.tag=accessories
By metafield: filter.p.m.global.product-details-material=italian-leather

Hey, @EtiqlBI.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question.
If you're using a third-party app and third-party app, then we'd recommend getting support for your theme and getting help with apps from the developers. If the developers don't offer customization support, then you can also consider hiring a developer to assist you with your store. Should you need help finding a certified developer, then we'd recommend taking a look at our directory on Shopify Partners.

Hey @Elias , no, we're not using an app, we're using Shopify's native filtering options, and configuring some custom filters on Shopify's own Search and Discovery app. Of all these filters, only the availability is returning products when requested to Shopify, that's why I think there might be something wrong with our Shopify backend
