Custom liquid code only shows in preview, not on phone and desktop

Worked fine until it suddenly stopped.
I tried the official examples from the site to make sure its not a coding issue, then I also tried a basic <h1> title </h1>

it shows in the preview

i hit save and when i check my phone it wont show after a refresh (same for desktop)

any other changes will show

Is custom-liquid.liquid a template page? If not then there is no output for the code therefore it will not show. If you have a link to your page I may be able to explain better.
