Customer is trying to bid through my Auction app and keeps getting "too many redirects" error

I am running an auction through an app on my website and it is running smoothly so far.

A customer reached out to update the email on her account, so I updated it manually and merged her 2 accounts. 

When she then went to place a bid on an item, she received an error message "too many redirects". This is very time sensitive! Thank you
