The notes that customers leave in the cart have stopped showing in the order as of 11/26/23. We've never had an issue prior to this date and we've made no changes or added any apps to cause the issue. I've seen that many others are having this issue but not seeing a solution. The order notes are extremely important for the products we sell. Looking for a solution or a possible workaround. Thanks in advance!
Hey, @PowerBeads.
Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.
I understand that the cart notes have stopped working for you, and there haven't been any changes made to your store. If there weren't any changes made, then it's possible that your theme has automated updates enabled. Did you get a chance to check over the settings for the cart notes?
If not, then you can follow our guide on doing that here: activate order notes on your cart page. However, should the issue continue to persist, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to identify and resolve the problem. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to continue assisting you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.
That being said, I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community. I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What types of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
