Customise Checkout and Order Sheet

We sell carpet in cuts and different people require different sizes, we have built calculator which allows us to take the customers size, plan their garden and the cuts they will need based on their inputted size and then reccomend the accessories required to install the carpet, it then populates cart and checkout based on their selection of cuts and accessories, we are facing an issue because the cuts they enter in the calculator does not populte their cart page, checkout page or our order page /invoice sheet meaning a lot of manual work checking sizes via email or phone call with customers who have made orders, we are looking for a solution so we can push the cuts entered through to our final invoice and picking sheets whilst still selling the carpet in units (per square metre)

The best possible solution will be the following :-

Attach Cut Details to the Product Using “Line Item Properties”
Modify your calculator so that it sends the customer's selected cut sizes as extra details attached to each carpet item when added to the cart.

Display Those Details in the Cart and Order
Update your cart and order printout (e.g. using Shopify’s Order Printer app) to show these attached details, so staff can see them when fulfilling the order.

Works with Per-Square-Metre Pricing
You still sell carpet by area, but now each order will include the actual cut sizes needed , reducing back-and-forth with the customer.
