Customize the default email invoice notification for just B2B customers?

Hi there! I am wondering if there is a way to customize the default Shopify Draft Order Invoice notification with slightly different messaging for B2B customers only?

The issue is that when we send the invoice for their order, customers are completing payment right away but their payment is not due until after the order ships. This is because we need to adjust cost to add in the shipping quote for large bulk orders.

Is adding special messaging for just B2B customers and keeping the rest of the content the same for everyone else possible to do? Is there anyone who has done something like this, and might have an example of how it could be done?

Hi @tanya12 Yes possible, could even have a condition for an entirely different layout*.

See the liquid variables reference for draft-order notification templates for b2b? and company vars

Or at minimum tag such customers and use tags in logic to hide the invoice_url in the initial email.

Then resend or send a different email to collect payment.
