Hello

I keep getting this message while saving

"online store editor session can't be published"

and when one out of 10 times when it said "saved", it was actaully not really saved, the changes are still not being saved.

Tried refresh, incognito mode, still no use

Did anyone experience this before?

It's a big problem since our store isn't able to update at all

Appreciate with any help!!

My store is

https://www.wgroup.com.tw/

Hey, @missarielchiang!

Thanks for connecting with us. I can imagine this is a time-sensitive issue for you, so let's dive right in.

You're absolutely on the right path with ruling out potential local errors - let's make sure you also cross off the following:

  • Try clearing cache/cookies of current browser
  • Try from a different, up-to-date, browser
  • Try from a different network connection, preferably mobile data
  • Ensure all software is up-to-date
  • If possible, please try from a different device
  • Try customizing a different Shopify-developed theme

If the issue continues to persist at that point, please share the following back with me:

  1. Screenshot of the error you see
  2. Device details, including current software version
  3. Which browser you are using, and what version
  4. Which theme you are currently editing

As I mentioned earlier, I can understand why you might need immediate support, which our 24/7 live Support team is best suited for. Don't hesitate to connect with them directly for faster assistance.

Warm regards,

Thanks for joining our thread, @AshCommerece21!

I recommend testing against an unedited version of the theme (meaning one that has no code changes) to ensure that is not preventing any changes from reflecting on the site.

Furthermore, it's important to test in an incognito or private window. If changes are appearing in preview, then they will also appear once published on the front-end so long as your browser is not caching an older version. For caching issues, see the troubleshooting steps I've already provided above.
