Dawn 15.1 Product page jumps down when selecting a different variant on mobile

Issue: Page scrolls down to the bottom when selecting a different variant on mobile (does not do it on desktop).

I did a preliminary research and I'm aware this is caused by code snippet scrollIntoView({ behavior: 'smooth' })

However, I have a couple of js and liquid files that have similar code snippets so I do not know which one I should change. Wary of commenting out without understanding the ripple effects. Can anyone help out?
