Hello, I plan to sell socks made of cotton and wool and I’d like to add a different material description to each sock. I followed this instruction. And I created the metafields for each material, one for cotton and one for wool, and I applied them to each sock. However, even though I assigned the unique metafields, cotton for cotton socks and wool for wool socks, it always goes one metafields. I can't assign one for cotton and one for wool. Can you please help me with this? Thank you so much.
Hi @kirinji ,
Since you have already added the custom metafield in product, plz share the full name of your metafield so that I can provide you liquid code to implement the same.
or you can add me as collab.
Hi @gr_trading , Thank you so much for your reply! Since I didn't want to make it too complicated, I went ahead and tried different things, and I was able to solve the issue. I assigned BOTH metafields (cotton and wool) in both socks (cotton and wool), and assigned only one material description to the correct socks in the individual product listing under the PRODUCTS page. So now cotton sock shows cotton as a material and wool sock shows wool as a material. Hope this will help whoever has the same issue! Thank you.
