Dawn Theme - How to hide sold-out variants?

Hello!

I can't figure out how to hide sold-out variants in the dawn theme. I did find the code to disable sold-out variants but not how the really hide them. 

I saw there are solutions for the older themes, but not for the dawn theme.

I have multiple jeans with 44 size variants and in my test product there are only 18 sizes available, so for the user experience this is quite a failure! The jeans sizes works with inches, like 32/34. I also have other size variants like M, L, XL and XXL. 

Hope someone has a solution for this!
