Dawn theme Update

Hallo, ich möchte mein Dawn-Theme aktualisieren und würde mich über eure Unterstützung freuen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das Theme zu aktualisieren, ohne meine individuellen Anpassungen zu verlieren?

Hey Elli,

If you're talking about non-custom code changes, most of those changes get transferred onto the updated theme. As for custom code changes, you'll need to do them again.

Also, when you update your theme, your current theme doesn't actually gets touched. When updating, Shopify duplicates your current theme, and updates that duplicate. That way, your current theme does not get affected and you can compare and contrast the unupdated and the updated themes.
